Little House in the Kastro
A smalll house of 25m2 located in the Kastro area of the old town of Parikia. Ideally located for the market street and seafront of Parikia, close to shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Only 300 metres from the ferry port and bus station. Parking available on the seafront (150 m) and in the municipal car parks (500 metres). It is run by Stella and Colin and we promise you a warm welcome. We can meet you at the port or the airport and bring you to the property. We can tell you our favourite places to visit, the best beaches, villages, walks, cycle rides etc and our tips for the best restaurants, bars and cafes.
The house is cleaned twice weekly, linen and towels are provided and changed twice weekly. A daily cleaning service is available at an extra charge.
Check out is 11.00 am on the day of departure, check in is from 3.00 pm on day of arrival.
Downstairs/Upstairs
The house consists of 2 floors, the front door opens into the kitchen/dining/seating area. Upstairs is accessed by a spiral metal staircase, where the sleeping area with a double bed is located. also upstairs are the balcony and the toilet/shower. The kitchen area has a twin ring hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, all necessary crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils. There is a table with space for 4 people, where you can eat your food. There is also a sofa where you can comfortably watch the TV and DVD. There is wi-fi access available for free, just bring along your laptop
The bedroom upstairs has a double bed, 2 chairs, 2 sets of drawers, 2 corner bedside shelves, a radio alarm clock, a mirror, wardrobe space and twin reading lamps above the bed along with an air conditioning unit. The balcony has 2 folded chairs and a fold down table and a pergola (sun cover/awning). The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin and mirror and hangers for towels.
The local area
The House is very close to the main market street and the seafront of the old town of Parikia. Here you will find numerous bars, restaurants, shops for presents, supermarkets and corner shops. The old town also has the Kastro, an old Venetian fort, numerous ancient sites, lots of small, cute, narrow streets to explore and churches and pretty houses.
